What's up ChatPak?!
Quite a few of you have asked me about the best way to bring internet to your family if you're experiencing hard times financially. Here's what I found: (Beyonce on a $10 bill). Ok seriously:
Both AT&T and Spectrum offer low income families up to 12mbps of internet at only $10/month.
If you're not up on the latest internet speed lingo let me explain simply. Megabits per second (MBPS) is the measurement used to explain your internet speed. On average, 60mbps is okay for a family using a moderate amount of internet. So the 12mbps, offered by AT&T or Spectrum is not the greatest speed of internet for streaming and heavy gaming. However, it is perfectly fine for surfing the web, light gaming, researching jobs and completing school work.
If you can't afford a $50/month internet bill, maybe $10 a month will be priced just right? Here's the link: https://www.att.com/shop/internet/access/#/
Now you know.
